A Luxury Seafood Dinner

Last night, I attended a “seafood dinner” which was organized by Jin Sheng in @ Unique Seafood Restaurant; located in PJ.

There were 9 of us gathered for the gathering. We threw Candice a farewell since she has decided to go back to Ipoh to further her future undertakings.

The minute I stepped inside the restaurant; I was amazed by the restaurant which looked like an Aquarium to me.

There are varieties of seafood there and many of the sea creatures I have never seen before.
See this...

Scotland Clams

California Geoducks

Spider Crabs

Jin Sheng booked a VIP room to gather all of us. The room was equipped with a big plasma TV.
From left: Me, Ze Xiong, Jin Sheng and Kok Ping.

Special thanks to Jin Sheng who sponsored the red wine.
The red wine was bought from Chile and the taste of the wine was fine and nice.

Me and Terry, Weng Kit.

Here we go...food of the night...
Geoduck from California and this meal cost us RM401... though, it was nice to see and nice to eat.

Look at the meat...It was extremely fresh... Yummy yummy.

According to Ryan, Yoong Loong; the geoduck is nice to eat by soak inside the herbal soup for few seconds. Though, I prefer to eat the raw one with wasabi.

Wasabi...looked like..

Mussels serving with soup. According to Weng Kit; this kinds of mussel was once upon a time living under the deep blue sea and was diffcult to find. However, It could easily get now right after the incident of Tsunami due to the big waves have dashed out the mussels to the shore.

Ostrich... Jin Sheng's favourie.

A seasonal vege- translated directly from Chinese is "Green Dragon Vege".

Delicious "Lou Fu Pan".

And, the most expensive dish of the night- Spider Crab.

Spider crab cooked with salty egg.

Dessert- Chilled Mango with sagu.

Posting infront of the cam.

Ohohoho, I like this photo very much. The shark looked vivid. Nice shoot from Kok Ping.
Special thanks to Jane as well cos most of the photos were taken by her.

And... the bill of the dinner is....RM 1, 572.05. The service charge and 5% government tax are already RM200.

As such, It was a luxury dinner. However, I enjoyed the food and the moments I spent with my beloved friends...
Patrick...how I wish you was there...to pay the bill for us. Hohoho....

Steamboat

Steamboats refer to variety of dishes cooked in a simmering pot of broth at the table. Most of us tend to have a steamboat during raining day. While the weather is cold, with a spoon of hot broth and our favorite ingredients put inside the hot pot. The taste is just yummy.

If you like spicy food, perhaps; you can go to a steamboat shop at “Low Maji Restaurant”- 老妈子 at Bandar Puteri, Puchong to try for the spicy steamboat. You can order two broths at one pot. For eg, spicy broth and a Chinese herbal broth.

Well, for the food and broth; it is very subjective, some people may find it tasty whereas some may not. For me, if there are more variety of food to be added, it will be great.

Due to the overwhelming, reservation is needed. Dial 03-80601168 for reservation.

My sis had organized a steamboat session during Eng Hong's visit in KL last Saturday.

Here is the shop. The shop's name is just cool.

New dinning place- Sushi Zanmai

Recently, I just discovered a new dining place. It is Sushi Zanmai which located in Sunway Pyramid, somewhere near the old wing of the shopping complex.

Thanks for Wai who introduced me to this sushi restaurant. I have been there several times and I found the sushi there are delicious and the price is reasonable. Sushi lover, if you are hunting for sushi with reasonable price, perhaps; Sushi Zanmai may satisfy your desires.

Last Friday, I and my colleagues were having dinner there. As usual, clean, nice environment and friendly staffs; however, some of the sushi rolls which supposingly fully coated with salmon were not actually coated in full. I was kinda disappointed. Luckily, the sushi tasted the same and it blowed me away.

I am looking kinda tired after a long working day.

Me and Beryl posting infront of the cam.

Wai and Beryl. Both look fabulous.

And here we go, Mr and Mrs Lim. Both are carrying the same face; no wonder, they have tied the knot on March, 2007.

Here is our most welcomed guest of the night, Apek Vincent Ho.

Here are some of the sushi pics taken during the day. Enjoy browsing...
