Life is a Flower!

I used to describe “Life is a flower” . Indeed, it is. Flower needs to tender with cares in order to grow up. At the beginning stage, planter takes care of the plant in the tenderest way. Like us, while we were infants, our parents taken care of us with lots of patience, care and love.

Soon, flower has grown a bit bigger and stronger; however, scheduled watering and nourishing are still needed in this stage. Like us, while we were kids; our parents still taken a good care of us.

Later, flower is in bloom. So beautiful and elegant in the garden that the bees and butterflies wish to drop by and to “kiss” the flower. Like us, we have then fully grown up; so confidence, so ambitious, and so fabulous. And, it’s time to embark on something in the society.

However, no matter how beautiful a flower is, the blossom will fall eventually. Like us, no matter how; we will get old eventually.

While I was 25, I was nervous; coz another 5 more years I would turn 30. While I was 26, I always telling people around me that, called me 25 and I would stay 25 forever. In fact, I am no longer 25 or 26; instead, I just turned 27 this February. Knowing that, my birthday falls on early of the year, so I considered older than the rest of us who are same age with me.

But, who cares? No matter how, one simple and timeless truth is; I will be fabulous, always fabulous, no matter how old I am. Live life to the max!!!

Received a bouquet from Simon aka Kong in the office. Surprisingly, though; din expect I would received a bouquet on my birthday. There are 18 stalks of red rose tight in a small bundle. Ha, I like it very much. Thanks.

Welcome 2009!

Apparently, my first topic for the New Year- 2009. Last year, i did come out a lot of New Year's resolutions and it ain't go well. Okay, since it's still "new" year, i gotta come out my 2009 New Year resolutions...

1. Increase personal's wealth (target is up to xxx amount)
2. At least two sports a week (jogging, badminton, tennis...)
3. Free from doctor and away from medi (no more tonsilitis, cough..., more healthier. However, i am now yet to recover from cough...)
4. Cut down the unnessary cost (perhaps, shoes?)
5. more loves and cares for my family ( I always do, but still have space for improvement)
6. Control my emotion- rarely happen (for those who i hurt regardless of dreadful words, please accept my sincere apology; it might a sudden outburst)
7. Work smart
8. Travel to...Egypt? Gotta be realistic...visit China, Korea or Australia by end of this year.
9. Read more (my papa said i am a bookworm; but still have to read more, more and more).
10. Finally...be happy!

Emm...It's time to take out the new calender and the new organizer for 2009.
Obviously, my calender and organizer are from ExxonMobil. I like the organizer very much, the design is much better than the previous years. There are altogether 12 paintings pasted on hardpapers as a divider for each month and each of the painting has implication stated at the bottom. It's really cool.

Whereas, the calender is from EM Hong Kong. The design is excatly the same as per last year.

My new hairstyle for the new year? Definately nope, I got my hair rebond coz i prefer my hair straight rather than curl.

And, i got all books during Christmas's eve. Hohoho, thanks MPH answered my call and no doubt, i had a great Chritmas with Edward, Bella, Carlislie, Esme, Alice, Jasper, Emmett, Rosaline and etc by my side.

Goodbye 2008!

Time passing very quick. Another 45 minutes, i gotta waive my hand and say goodbye to year 2008 and welcome year 2009.

Another new year, it means i am a year older. I am sitting in front of my new notebook; listening to oldish songs while blogging and wondering why times passed so quickly that until i din even notice.

Remember those times, during my teenager period; i was crazy for Backstreet Boy; i bought most of the albums (of course those time, we normally listened to cassette), pasted the BSB's big poster on the wall behind my bed, watched Billboard Chart every Friday, listened to hitz.FM top 10 every nights, learnt to sing the hitz songs...

While i was in university, of course;I no longer crash for boy band but i was attracted by those talented singers and actors. Taufik Batisah (the first Singapore's Idol) was then became my idol. He is the most versatile singer i have ever seen. He can sings well regardless of jazz, rock, vocal, R&B and etc.

Okay, enough for the craps. Well, Yamuna asked me what my new year resolution is during lunch hour today. And then, i suddenly recalled that, the same thing Sook Wai asked me during last year' New Year's eve and i replied Sook Wai that my new year's resoluation was to file all the documents on daily basis so that i would not panic during report time. Apparently, the mission was failed miserably.

For year 2008, My biggest lost was i had lost both of my maternal's grandparents who had now join the GOD in peace.
Whereas, if you ask me, what's my biggest achievement for year 2008? Perhaps, It would be -I bought a unit (an apartment) with my sister by using our own money. (It's aint not bad,though; i guess).

For year 2009, I wish all of you...

Diamonds are girls best friend!

Actually i have a lot of things to share and there are just many things i would like to blog. However, my going to 6 years old laptop is currently malfunctioned and it has sent to the workshop.

Before year 2008 kicks to end; no choice, i have to steal a little time from my working hours to blog. Shhh...

Ok, enough for the craps. Judging my captioned title; you know what am i going to share next. How true it can be?

There is a scene in Moulin Rouge when Nicole Kidman who played a role as the star of Moulin Rouge- Satine; singing the song "Diamonds are girls best friend", this song perhaps well-represented the heart of those Can-Can dancers whom performed the dance in the Moulin Rouge. In Moulin Rouge, there is no "love". Whereas, it's a place of "money" and "power". Money certainly became the greatest element in which they persuade in life.

During a marriage of a young couple, when the bridegroom does not have sufficient money to buy a diamond ring for the bridge; the bridge will not blame the bridegroom but she gets her man to promise to buy her a diamond ring whenever the husband is affordable. In short, diamond is essential to sustain a marriage. How true it will be? Look, if the husband fails to buy a diamond as he had promised before; the wife will keep begging until she received one.

In this century, most of the girls trend to be more realistic and materialistic. This is because the diamond which belongs to her, she can keeps it the rest of her life until the day she leaves the world and joins the GOD in peace. The diamond will not simply transfers to others unless she is willing to do so. Whereas, men are easily attach by others or easily transfer from one woman to another.

As such, a smart woman learns how to keep the diamond instead to keep the man. I guess, this is why “Diamonds are girls best friend” because diamonds will not betray her own master.

During lunch break yesterday, I and my colleagues went to Dengkil to have lunch. With our least expectations; something bad was happened. My colleague, young Beryl who was driving along a straight road was hitting by a car. Although, it was not her fault, but she spent the half day to go to lodge the police report, send her car to the workshop… Thanks GOD that there was no injury.

Rational or Irrational

Naturally, during certain circumstances, we tend to solve our problem rationally. The consequences of the problem will be weighted prior any action taken toward it.

In term of relationship, some people may weight from A-Z before they opt for theirs’ life partner. For instant; range of salary, education level, outlook, personality and etc. Certainly, this is a logical thinking because water and bread are more essential than love.

Whereas, for some people, they will never measure what theirs’ other half really have. A person who falls into this category may think that love is more important than anything else. Obviously, some may think this is irrational.

Samantha Jones in the series of Sex and the City; while she was in loved with one of the richest men- Richard in New York; she was irrational to agree with Richard to have a 3 sum (3 people in a bed) during Richard’s birthday. After she found out that Richard cheated on her, she was rational to end the relationship by told straight to Richard’s face: “Look, Richard, I love you but I love myself more!” Despite, Richard did not cheat on her again and in love with her.

If a person is too rational, he /she may misses out something that is important to them. In contrast; if irrational, wrong action/ judgment may be taken place.

To be rational OR irrational?

After few months of speculation, Lindsay Lohan has publicly declared that she is in a lesbian relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson.

Some of us may curious why such an adorable, young and pretty gal like Lindsay has chosen a female rather than a male. The answer may be subjective.

Perhaps, it is not easy to match all the couples in the world and the percentage of female existing in the earth is definitely more than male. In order to find the equivalent, Cupid's bow has pointed to the same sex.

Besides that, CUPID is working in different ways. Nowadays, many people are walking down the aisle a second time. A marriage between a male and a female may not end up with happy ending just like Cinderella, Belle or Rapunzel. Some people struggling theirs' whole life just to find a “true love” and when they did, finally; they may realize that they may not. In this century, we are getting more educate and we all turn to be demanding, picky and choosy. Therefore, it is not surprise that there are getting more white-haired people saying “I do” in the wedding.

Perhaps, when a person loses faith in love and at the same time; there is someone who be there for her/him, shows care, love and support to them. Definitely, they are easily attracted to each other.

Therefore, Cupid's bow is not the thing to be blamed for.

Live life cool

Woah, my first time to blog. Actually; I have been thinking to start blogging since 2006. However, due to my busy working life, i have no time to blog. Haha, i get bored of my routine life; so, i decided to blog. Finally, "Sally's Corner comes to live"!

Emm...well, i had came out this blog last week. However, i am like a "new kid on the blog", and i am still in the midst of figuring out the blog's functions and features. Hopefully, i will blog more later.
