Recently, me and my sista are always discussing about a new trend. It is about the sterling silver collection from Thomas Sabo.

In 1984, a Jewellery enthusiast called Thomas Sabo came out his own jewellery company with his name in Bavaria, Germany. When my sista first introduced this jewellery to me, i was totally amazed by its fine, unique and special design. It offers the attractive Sterling Silver jewellery for current fashion trend, it simply suits the most diverse occasions and outfits. Most of the charms are Sterling Silver which adorned by using hand-cut and hand-set zirconia stone.

And, it so happened that I had received one of the Thomas Sabo’s collections during my birthday this year. It is the most expensive gift that I have received so far. No doubt that my birthday was cherished by this lovely charm. Million thanks to da one who bought me this gift.

I bought a Thomas Sabo's charm bracelet to hook the lovely apple. The charm bracelet is selling @ MYR 149.

I am wearing the charm on my neck during my colleague's wedding dinner. It's elegant and charming.

Chiang Mai Trip (May 2008)

In Chiang Mai International airport. I will definately travel here again. I like Chiang Mai, people here are nice and it somehow did warm my heart. No doubt, it is a good place for you to relax. C ya, Chiang Mai!!!

We stopped by Vachirathrn Waterfall while we were on the way to National Park. The waterfall is splendid.

Chiang Mai; also known as “Chieng Mai” is the largest and most culturally significant city in northern Thailand. It is located at north Bangkok and among some of the highest mountains in Thailand.

Since I had been to Chiang Mai before; I suggested to my gals to stay somewhere away from the city and take a breath of the clean air in a place which is away from the city. As such, Baan Klang Doi was our chosen place to stay with.

When we reached the resort… the scenery surrounding the resort was just nice. However, the rooms that we were going to stay were actually built with fine wood, those Thai and Lana’s style. The washroom of the room was open air, with no ceiling and it only covered with a transparent canvas. OMG, “what’s place is this?” I whispered to myself. Since we had paid the accommodation fees in full, so, we all decided to accept our “fate”.

However, I was totally pissed off when they billed us around 800 baht for four tomyam kung. This means that each of us needed to pay RM20. And, the tomyam that we consumed, I believed we can buy the same bowl of tomyam in Malaysia with only RM5. A grim mood has gripped the resort.

Hence, we all decided to move to another hotel which near the city (since Baan Klang Dai is 35-40mins away from the city and it costs 450-550baht each way to go to the city). So, we moved and stayed in Suriwongse- a hotel which I stayed while I was in Chiang Mai in year 2006. I felt much comfortable after moved to Suriwongse. Truthfully, Baan Klang Doi is only suitable for those natural lovers and not for the civilized people.

At night, we decided to go to Sunday market (which only opens on Sunday). There are a lot of things available there with reasonable price. We walked around there barely 2 hours, due to raining; we forced to go back to hotel.

2nd day, we took a tour in National Park and the King’s Pagoda.The National Park in Thailand is 2,500 above the sea level. The weather there is the same as Genting Highlands in Malaysia.

Woah, my first time to blog. Actually; I have been thinking to start blogging since 2006. However, due to my busy working life, i have no time to blog. Haha, i get bored of my routine life; so, i decided to blog. Finally, "Sally's Corner comes to live"!

Emm...well, i had came out this blog last week. However, i am like a "new kid on the blog", and i am still in the midst of figuring out the blog's functions and features. Hopefully, i will blog more later.

I am neither a columnist nor a writer. So, my blog may not inspiring you, however; i hope you will enjoy reading it! Cheers!
