CNY- Reunion Dinner

For me, Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holiday. Thanks GOD that I had a week off for this CNY.

Before the CNY approached, I and my sis used to do a lot shopping. All the shopping complexes were decorated with red and the atmosphere was just pandemonium.

I wrapped the hamper myself.; not bad though, first time DIY.

I used the small plastic bags (those plastic bags which used to cover the chinese mandarin oranges) to deco the plant. The plant itself called "money tree" which planting by my mama.

The moment i reached home from KL, my grandma had already ordered me to deco the house compound.
During this CNY, I had my fingernails "implanted" coz I never keep long fingernails. To have nice and long fingernails, I had been waited in Mike’s Saloon for more than 5 hours to get my fingernails done. The canvases on my fingernails were hand drawing. As such, time is needed to pain those flowers on the fingernails.

My cousin- Jiann Wen is shooting the pic of my hand during the dinner. my hand looked miserable without applied the hand lotion :p

This year, since my mum just recovered from dengue fever; my family did not prepare the reunion dinner as usual. We had the reunion dinner in the restaurant nearby.

The above mentioned signs and symptoms are more or less the same as per Chikugunya which also cause by mosquitoes. To diagnosis, it is advisable to check with the doctor and have a blood text.

I would like to share with you all about the dengue fever remedies. Both of my mother and aunty had just recovered from dengue fever. Right after my mother had diagnosis dengue fever; my father called home and asked my mother to prepare :

1. two frogs (of course those eatable frogs)
2. bitter cucumber

Just clean and boil the above ingredients and drink it. It is work and the platelet count of the patient may jump instantly after consumed the drink.

However, due to worse dengue fever outbreak, it is difficult to get frogs. While my mother unable to boil the bitter cucumber drink with the frog. I recalled that I have read a forward email about the amazing papaya leaves. I taught my mother how to prepare it and right after my mother consumed it, thanks GOD that her platelet count jumped up the following day.

It is easy and simple to prepare the papaya Juice:

1. Firstly, find two pieces of raw papaya leaves and clean it.
2. Secondly, pound and squeeze the papaya leaves with a clean filter cloth.
3. A tablespoon per leaf.
4. Two leafs (two tablespoons) a day.
5. Do not boil or cook with hot water.

The above remedies are bitter but it is amazing and working. Since the dengue fever is rampant now, it is good to share this to all of you. Do spread these natural remedies to your friends and your loved ones.

Last but not least, the efficient way to prevent dengue fever is to clean the house compound frequently to avoid the new born of the infected mosquitoes.
