Phuket Trip, Day 3

On the 3rd day morning in Phuket, due to lack of sleep on the previous two nights; I felt jaded.

I was too tired until I slept unconsciously. Luckily me and my sis still able to catch up the breakfast with the rest of them.

After the breakfast, we took a walk along the Patong beach, the breeze was nice and the view was fantastic and it did cheers our mood.

It was around 10.00am, but; the sun was shining.

After the walk, it's time to say bye bye to the guys and the rest of us stayed another half day in Phuket. Au Revoir, my friends. Pity for Patrick cos he needed to catch the night flight to London on the same day itself. However, i think it paid off, cos Patrick seemed enjoy the trip, did you?

After we packed our luggages, it was a time to go for a "Goodbye drink", though, it supposingly a "Welcome drink" which we haven't take during our first day in Royal Palm. This photo was taken by Jane, I found it artistic, so I put it here. Good take, Jane.

Time for photos before we ahead to shopping complex.

I like the hotel (Royal Palm Beachfront) very much. It's just match the name- Beach in front; the minute we stepped out from the hotel, we could see a blue blue sky, deep blue sea and a lovely beach in front.

Inside the restaurant.

Outside the restaurant.

We were taking "tut tut" to go to the shopping centre in Patong. With Trace and Jane on my right and left.

With Jane.

In front of Jungceylon Shopping complex.

Inside the shopping complex, only we knew exactly what we were doing there. Funny, though.

Before we went back to the hotel to take our luggages, we found an "Arsenal Football Club" shop there. As an Arsernal's fan; without hesitate, i walked in to the shop to hunt for jersey or shirt...

Me, Ceci and Trace bought Polo-T shirts (printed with Arsernal's badge).
I damn like the shirt. Not only the price is cheap, the quality of the shirt is pretty good.

In the Phuket International Airport. We were wearing sleeveless T-shirts which we bought in the afternoon. Apparently, without the guys, shopping was the only thing we can do...
We were starving during the flight back to Malaysia. Initially, we wanted to have some nice food in the airport before we aboard, however, most of the restaurants in the airport were closed. As such, my advice is; have your dinner first before you go to the airport if you're taking a night flight coz most of the restaurants close around 8.30pm. That was why we all ended up taken our late dinner in the plane and my dinner was "Maggie Mee, curry favor".

Emm..almost forgot to mention. There is a NaRaYa shop in the airport. Indeed, a very small shop. The price of the bags is slightly higher than those in Bangkok. My advice; better opt for your favourite NaRaYa bags in Bangkok instead in Phuket.

Well, to be frank; I did enjoy the trip and I really had fun with my friends. Guys and gals, looking forward for our coming tripssss...ssss Again, Live life to the Max; I luv you all.

Idols paradise- American Idol Season 8

I am one of the American Idol’s fans since season 3. Can you imagine? 8 years down the road; America is running for this show and it’s definitely a hot and the most successful show.

With Ryan Seacrest remained the host of this show; the same judges- funny and energetic Randy Jackson, meaningless and sometime speechless Paula Abdul, the cruel and unpredictable Sir Simon Cowell (he just honored “SIR” by Queen Elizabeth) and a pretty new judge Kara Dioguardi is added to this show this year.

This season perhaps is the strongest group so far. Now, it’s time to summarize your Top 7 contestants.

Allison Iraheta
The 16 years old, young and energetic Allison reminds me of Kelly Clarkson (the first American Idol). The powerful of her voice is gifted and definitely she could go further in this competition. Her best song:
  • I don’t want to miss a thing- Top 7

Anoop Desai
The American born Indian is now living in his American Dream. Though, he is a minority citizen in US but he managed to get himself into Top 7 which is not easy. He got a good voice but he needs to get more votes from Americans. Let’s check out his best songs in the competition:

  • You are always on my mind- Top 10
  • True color – Top 8
  • Everything I do, I do it for you- Top 7

Adam Lambert
The fashionable, funky and most versatile contestant in this competition; he has never been into the bottom 3, he got a good voice and the most important thing is he never copies the original songs during the competition, he comes out the song in HIS way which American Idol is looking for. He is definitely in the “Star Zone” and makes his way through the end of this competition. Check out his best performances so far:

  • Black or White- Top 13 (highly recommended, it was brilliant till my goose bump came out)
  • Smokey’s song- Top 10 (recommended)
  • Play the funky music- Top 9
  • Mad world- Top 8 (highly recommended, it made Simon Cowell stood on his feet)

Danny Gokey
He is one of my favorites. No doubt he has a good voice and his vocal is one of the best among the contestants. Same with Adam, he has never been into bottom 3. While he sings, he put lots emotion into the songs and makes them flawless. Check out:

  • What hurts the most- Top 8

Kris Allen
Well, he is a talented singer who can play guitar, keyboard and etc. He is the one who most of the judges praised from week to week. He is the one who has improvement and well progress week after week. Basically, all of his past performances were worth to watch; do check out his performances starting from Top 13. However, the one that I re-run more than 6 times was:

  • Ain’t no sunshine- Top 8 ( Gees, my goose bump came out whenever I watch his performance singing this song, it was fabulous).

Lil Rounds
The only black remained in this competition. She has a powerful voice. However, according to the judges, she keeps picking the wrong choice of songs every week and she was in bottom 3 last week. The song I like the most was:

  • Independence day – Top 10 (but none of the judges like it)

Matt Giraud
He looks like Justin Timberlake and sounds like Michael Buble. He can plays well for piano and keyboard. He is talented and I like him very much. But, the only problem of his; is he unable to choose properly whether to come out a soft or R& B song. All of the judges like most of his performances. Like Kris, most of his performances were certainly worth to watch. He was the one who got the less of votes but the judges had stood in and saved him from being kicked out last week. Mean, he will be in AI next week. Americans, please vote for him!!!

  • So Small- Top 10
  • Smokey’s week- top 9

And, special dedicated to Scott MacIntyre, congratulation to you for made your AI’s journey to Top 8. It ain’t easy. You never give up yourself though you are vision impaired. You’re a talented singer and pianist. And, you’re certainly idol for the Americans. All the best!!!

Though someone’s American Idol dream may goes to the end with someone’s glory. I hope those who can sing can become the next Chris Daughthy or next Jenifer Hudson; either best selling singer or an Oscar and Grammy Awards winner.

I am going to make a wild guess (actually not tat wide); Adam Lambert will become the next American Idol. May the best man/ woman wins!!!
