The insurance and investment giant- American International Group. INC (AIG) announced to pay the contractual bonus amounting USD 165 million to its executives on Sunday. The funny thing is, AIG is facing the financial crisis and almost going to collapse last year. To prevent AIG to go for wound up during last Sept, the government bailout fund amounting USD 170 billion had been issued to AIG.
How do they justify this outrage to the taxpayers who are keeping the company alive? And, most of the higher level executives obtained bonus of more than USD 100 million dollars and some of the executives were resigned and gone right after the bonus has been paid out.
I am neither American nor the US tax payer, I totally feel unjustified to the act. There are more than 450 million of Americans have lost their job during this financial crisis and AIG is using the “taxpayers” money to reward its executives? It is totally outrageous! President Obama had issued a blistering attack on the co and pledged the co from paying the bonus. The US ministers are now urging AIG to restrain the bonus and repay the bonus.
Across the country, without the federal bailout fund; there are still a lot of employees who work hard to meet their daily responsibilities; all they wish is to have a stable job. AIG; at the least, has to utilize the bailout fund to safe its corporation instead of issue million dollars of bonus to its executives.

Life is a Flower!
I used to describe “Life is a flower” . Indeed, it is. Flower needs to tender with cares in order to grow up. At the beginning stage, planter takes care of the plant in the tenderest way. Like us, while we were infants, our parents taken care of us with lots of patience, care and love.
Soon, flower has grown a bit bigger and stronger; however, scheduled watering and nourishing are still needed in this stage. Like us, while we were kids; our parents still taken a good care of us.
Later, flower is in bloom. So beautiful and elegant in the garden that the bees and butterflies wish to drop by and to “kiss” the flower. Like us, we have then fully grown up; so confidence, so ambitious, and so fabulous. And, it’s time to embark on something in the society.
However, no matter how beautiful a flower is, the blossom will fall eventually. Like us, no matter how; we will get old eventually.
While I was 25, I was nervous; coz another 5 more years I would turn 30. While I was 26, I always telling people around me that, called me 25 and I would stay 25 forever. In fact, I am no longer 25 or 26; instead, I just turned 27 this February. Knowing that, my birthday falls on early of the year, so I considered older than the rest of us who are same age with me.
But, who cares? No matter how, one simple and timeless truth is; I will be fabulous, always fabulous, no matter how old I am. Live life to the max!!!
Cheers, for the next 30 and 50!!!

World entering "Great Recession"
Dominique Strauss-Kahn; the head of IMF- International Monetary Fund has named the current recession as “Great Recession” and IMF forecast global growth in GDP- Gross Domestic Product is only 0.5% this year.
The world economic climate is glooming. With deep recession in US and there are a lot of pay cut and cessation of employment happened in the nation, the financial tsunami can hit the ground anytime. To prevent the market being worse; our government has thrown MYR 60 bil stimulating mini package to stimulus the market from slide to the financial crisis.
The RM 60 bil is divided into four levels. It mainly used to create job opportunity and to help the cease of company. The package is not transparent enough to tell whether it would work well or not. And, some people wondering why portion of the fund to be used on education purposes and not mainly use to save the market from the crisis?
Hopefully the package is working well by creating lot of job opportunities and the spending power of the nation will then increase. Besides to save the market from the crisis, our government also needs to look into the solution to prevent the rampant crime rate in the country and to deal with the issue of the foreign labors.
With the great recession is coming, we shall not complacent instead we should cut down the unnecessary expenses (- a reminder to myself as well :p ) and save more. This year will be a tough year to the nation, hopefully the RM60bil would use in a proper way. Last but not least, hope the year of Ox will bring back the “bull” market to the world.

Chinese New Year 2009
As usual, I and my family went to the temple during the 1st day of the lunar New Year.
Since it was a spring festival, the blossomy plants which surrounding the temple welcomed us and each of the visitors with theirs’ most attractive look. It was awesome to see these blossom flowers.

The guest of honor of the day was Soon Yan aka Patrick who just came back from UK. He bought me a Gucci fragrance from UK. Hohoho, I damn like the smell of the fragrance, it’s fabulous and Patrick, you know how much I treasure you as my friend? You’re my star***! Luv Ya!
I like the bottle of the fragrance as well; it has a small chain on the middle of the bottle which making the bottle of the fragrance looks perfect.
There was a lion dance performance in my home on 3rd day of the CNY. It costs only MYR100.00 for “a” lion dance. “Double” lion dance costs MYR168.00 and I enjoyed the show very much.
The little lion visited my house during a hot and humid afternoon. It was awesome to see the little orange color lion dancing around my house compound.
After the lion dance performance; I was rushing to an annual gathering dinner in Mun Chong, Ipoh. It was an important date for me as I could meet and caught up with my formal classmates in this gathering. It’s meaningful and precious for me.
Me and Evon. I meet her only once a year.
Me and Eng Hong.
Me and Tai Lou- Weng Kit.
